Omega 3 is a polyunsaturated fatty acid (lipid that makes good). The most consumed omega-3 in food or
supplemented in capsules are: alpha-linolenic (ALA), found in nuts and vegetable oils; and those of
long chain, which are present in cold water fish: eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexanoic (DHA).
